Research Paper Selection for conference at IMS Ghaziabad 2015

Shobit Kumar, Swapnil Dutta and Kaveri Khorana wrote a research paper titled “Influence of Pester Power on Family Purchase Decisions in Urban India” which has been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on “Skill Development and Technological Innovations for Economic Growth” to be held at IMS Ghaziabad.

The “Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw Memorial Lecture” was held at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune on 3rd October, 2015 . The lecture was delivered by Mr Adi Godrej, Chairman, The Godrej Group on the topic of “LEADERSHIP”. Dr. S. B Mujumdar, Chancellor, Symbiosis International University, presided over the function. The occasion was graced by Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis and Dr Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor, SIU. Lt Gen RJ Noronha, AVSM, SM, Chief of Staff, Southern Command was the Guest of Honour.

SIMS fielded both boys and girls team in the SIU Inter-Institute Volleyball Championship…

SIMS fielded both boys and girls team in the SIU Inter-Institute Volleyball Championship. SIMS continues to outperform all the other institutes in volleyball and this is reflected by the results. The girls team emerged as the undisputed champions and won the much revered trophy. The boys team put up a hard-fought contest and finished third. Also, 4 girls and 2 boys have been selected for representing Symbiosis International University. The names of the
selected players are as follows:

Girls – Shree Ghosh, Amita Singh, Disha Phirke, Shruti Deshpande

Boys – Bhaskar Pal, Virender Singh
